Solicitor and Insurer Medical Reports
At IQED we believe maximising operational performance is a key element in profitable personal injury work and our financial model is used as a blue print to improve the average settlement periods of cases; thereby reducing our clients work in progress funding. In practice this works by: -
- carefully identifying the most appropriate expert for the injury sustained so the information presented in the report is relevant and inclusive;
- reducing the time it takes to produce reports thus reducing overall settlement times and increasing fee earner capacity;
- providing transparent and concise management information which positively identifies exceptions and drives us to achieve key performance indicators;
- providing a quality service to the client with a full rehabilitation panel available to support their immediate and longer term needs.
By regularly reviewing our operational systems and procedures we strive to: -
- reduce the average time from instruction to return of the medical report;
- reduce “dead” time in chasing outstanding reports and updating;
- exceed service levels to the patients.
Our agreement with 95% of insurance companies allow us to pass on the following benefits to the instructing solicitor: -
- no requirement for nominations for GP, A&E and Orthopaedic instructions;
- we invoice third party insurer direct;
- pre-agreed fees with insurers removing any costs disputes
